At Flores do Mar, we had the pleasure of creating timeless floral designs for a beautiful destination wedding in Estoril, Portugal — a two-day celebration that began with welcome drinks at the Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel & Spa, followed by a stunning ceremony at Forte da Cruz, one of the most iconic wedding venues on the Portuguese Riviera.
The Brief: White & Green Classic Elegance
The couple envisioned a classic white and green palette, blending natural beauty with understated sophistication. Our goal was to create florals that felt fresh, romantic, and perfectly in harmony with the coastal surroundings of Estoril.
Welcome Drinks at Villa Itália
The festivities began with an elegant welcome cocktail at the Grande Real Villa Itália Hotel.
We styled the high tables with delicate white hydrangeas, roses, and lush greenery, arranged in simple glass vases to create an airy and refined look.
This first evening set the tone for the weekend — a soft, elegant atmosphere that welcomed guests with effortless beauty and coastal charm.
The Ceremony at Forte da Cruz
The following day, the couple exchanged vows at the breathtaking Forte da Cruz, overlooking the sea.
For this ceremony, we designed a white and green floral scheme featuring roses, lisianthus, and hydrangeas — classic and timeless.
The aisle was lined with floral arrangements, leading to the altar framed by statement boxes overflowing with blooms and greenery. The effect was serene and romantic — a perfect balance between natural elegance and architectural grandeur.
